Introducing Think IP Strategy

We’re delighted to let you know that we’ve changed the name of our firm.

We’re now called Think IP Strategy.

Why?

The firm started nearly 6 years ago as a solo consultancy –  just me, Duncan.  It’s grown rapidly and continues to evolve even more rapidly.  We’ve long surpassed ‘Duncan and some great people helping him out’.

Think IP Strategy conveys the reality – a group of great people (all over the world) doing cool, difficult, leading edge IP Strategy (all over the world).  The new name captures who we are and what we’re about on many levels.  For example, we’re incredibly thoughtful about how we operate as a team, our clients, our work, our interactions with the rest of the community, and so on.

The firm hasn’t otherwise changed at all, just the name.  We have a new domain name, but the same website.  Stage 1 is just the renaming – we realise that even that may take a little while to get used to.  Stage 2 will be to remove me and the old firm name from the front page of our site.

Later we’ll rebrand more fully, change the website etc.  But not for now.

Otherwise, it’s business as usual.

  1. Thanks so much JustinAnd especially so for all of your advice and assistance with our site, social media, etc along the way.StressLimit is our not so secret, secret weapon – so check them out, guys.

  2. Duncan:Congrats!  That is a great name.  Your presence as an IP Strategist was critical to my stepping off the beaten IP lawyer path a little more than 2 years ago.  Although I still am a “solo consultancy,” the signal is that the sky is the limit and I look to your success for additional validation of this belief.  Thank you for your influence, and best of luck in the future.  Jackie

  3. Congrats Duncan! This is a smart move–creating stand-alone intangible capital that makes you a more attractive and sustainable company. Best wishes for continued success, Mary
