Should we really care about definitions?
Perhaps we should just ignore definitions such as ‘Intellectual Capital’, ‘Intangible Assets’ and just get on and do stuff and see what happens (a la Tom Peters).
Even today there are no unified definitions for intellectual capital and intangible assets. So people still miss each other when discussing how to manage them.
Maybe we shouldn’t bother. Maybe we should just get on and manage ‘I-Stuff‘, see what happens and iterate.
What do you think?
