Asian Bayh Dole's anyone?
In the our 12 December 2008 podcast, regular panellists Jeremy Philips, Shamnad Basheer and I were discussed the recently tabled Indian ‘Bayh Dole Act’ (the Protection and Utilisation of Public Funded Intellectual Property Bill 2008).
In response to the podcast, Tina Stephen has asked whether any other Asian countries have introduced Bills or Acts similar to the Bayh Dole Act.
I’m aware of discussions about it (see for example the PLoS article), but am unaware of any actual Bills or Acts – but if you are, please do post comments in reply to this post, or over at the relevant podcast page.
