Phishing damages your reputation and your brand – don't allow it

Phishing,  is not only a criminal act, it also damages the brand owner quite substantially.

A YouGov study recently reported by ArsTechnica found that up to 42% of people lose trust in a brand (such as a bank, ISP, shopping site, etc). 

From an IP perspective, the answer is simple – assert your trade marks (whether registered or not) against the Phishers.  That’s if you can find them…

Some of the comments at ArsTechnica talked about this study as an incentive for large companies to band together to find solutions, which seems like a good idea to me.
