Thursday, June 28, 2007 12:00pm — STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT OF IP

Bumber stickers, T-shirts & Squidoo

If you haven’t seen it, check out the recent blogpost at Seth Godin’s blog — ‘Trade Show Tactics’. They used 600 bright orange t-shirts, an offer of free Squidoo ads and the old radio station bumber stick tactic to create an enormous buzz at eBay Live.

A common discussion point in building the value of brands is the potentially enormous expense that goes along with traditional marketing campaigns.

It doesn’t have to be that way.
